Synopsis

The Bengali movie "Gauri" is a romantic thriller drama that tells the story of a complex love triangle involving a school teacher, Titus Bhowmik, and his 17-year-old student, Gauri, who has a mute sister named Uma. The plot thickens when Gauri's father, a folk artist named Dinu Debnath, is found murdered, and suspicion falls on both Titus and Dinu's friend, Gafur Sheikh. This incident triggers communal tensions between the local Hindu and Muslim communities.
