Synopsis

The plot centers on a clash between a People's Liberation Army unit and a bandit group in northeast China during the Chinese Revolution. In a bid to restore his influence, Pang Dezhong commands the creation of hunting grounds in the remote border town of Liangcheng to capture tigers for the production of 'Huyuan Jindan.' However, the tigers undergo a mutation, turning into frenzied beasts.
