Synopsis

The story follows a family of waste collectors in Calcutta, who gather trash from one of the city's wealthiest neighborhoods. Each night, they bring home discarded items to craft imaginative bedtime stories for their 6-year-old daughter. This is their only connection to the world of the rich. However, their lives are upended when a regulation mandates the use of battery-operated vehicles for waste collection work.
